About Beautiful RhoticBeautiful American English with beautiful R sounds (rhotic)
You can just call this school Beautiful R!!! I specialize in teaching young learners as young as 5 up to 19 years old. My classes are best suited for young learners who are planning to live or study in the USA or Canada, home school students who want to operate effectively in real English, or any young learner who wants true fluency and command in true American English.
My trainings are intended for one on one study. But if you have two, three or four children at similar English levels, we can arrange group trainings for them. You can discuss that with us by contacting us here. Your initial assessment class is free. After that, we’ll discuss the rate for training for your child or children. Generally it’s $28 USD per class hour, with maybe a slight increase for more children as a group.
I am using special methods designed to bring my students up in the correct mindset to be able to not just speak English, but to have command over it just like a native English speaker from the USA or Canada. And to operate in it with accuracy and reflexes like an athlete.
What I do is very very different from what your children are likely experiencing in the public school English classes, and with most private teachers too. While they almost university focus on establishing a foundation of knowledge in the student (which is a very heavy mental load to carry, and daunting to become fluent with), Instead I’ll train your children in English a lot like a coach would train their athletes to play a very complex, rapidly changing and competitive sport, and play it with a very high level of accuracy and natural speed, with very little burden on the conscious mind. Those athletes aren’t operating by carefully thinking and choosing their actions… They don’t have time for that!!! They gain their speed, accuracy and situation responsiveness by good training. The coach directs his athletes in how to engage in correct training, and I direct my students in how to engage in correct training for English. The coaches athletes will continue to practice and train according to their coaches instructions, and in the same way my student will continue to train and practice according to my good instructions.
Let’s break it down a little more. Unfortunately, most public schools these days, as well as most private language teachers, will focus on teaching knowledge and careful heavy thought. This is the wrong mindset. Learning a second language that way will lead to slow broken speaking, heavy mental fatigue, bad pronunciation, bad flow, and language that’s produced something like a robot from the old days. So what’s a good mindset? It’s the same mindset that any of us would use when we run. When we run we’re thinking about our destination, maybe about our speed, and maybe a little about the path we’ll take to get there. The mental load on the conscious mind is very light. But actually running is very complex. While we were growing up, another part of our mind was being trained on how to coordinate all of our muscle groups in our entire body, how to take what we see, feel and hear and instantly and accurately use that to change our motion so that we don’t slip or crash into something. It’s extremely complex, but when handled by that other part of our mind, which can be trained to be both extremely fast and extremely accurate, it all becomes very easy.
Learning a second language can and should be like this too. Especially for young learners, they are very good at picking up on patterns. When given a fast paced exposure to basic true English, their minds begin their training. When they recognize the patterns, their minds will begin to operate in those same patterns, and the students will begin to be able to speak with those same structures and sentences, with very little conscious thought, but with very high speed and accuracy. That lays the foundation to move into more complex things. This is how professional competitive athletes train too. and it’s how I train my students to have command over English like a native speaker, or like an athlete.
WHAT ERRORS ARE STUDENTS BEING TAUGHT IN OTHER PLACES?
Pacing: you child speaks English with a small or big silence gap between every single syllable, but especially after words that end with a D or a T. There shouldn’t be any gaps at all, except for between sentences, at commas, and sometimes between ideas within a sentence. That’s it.
Response Time: your child doesn’t carry a conversation in English. They think for a long time and then answer a question. Maybe they could ask one or two questions, but they couldn’t ever lead a conversation.
Grammar Minded: Your child is always hesitating because they’re always thinking about a lot of grammatical rules and searching for words. Again, this error habit will prevent them from every being effective at leading conversations, or even holding up their end of a conversation that they’ve joined.
Sounds Taught Incorrectly: Those long pauses after words ending in a D or a T are used to give huge spike T or TSSS sounds to both words. Almost every R sound is gone. Most short O sounds have been changed to Long O sounds. Most i vowels are given the long E vowel sound and sometimes short E vowel sounds. Etc. None of these are natural errors. They’re all taught to the students incorrectly by teachers of the world. These are serious errors. For example: “It’s a boy” shouldn’t sound like “eats a boy”. This is an enormous and growing issue. There are so many errors like these that we’re correcting now, that never came up at all just a few years ago. These are all taught errors. An extreme corruption the the real English language.
Swapped Word Order: Words in one order can represent a question, and in the reversed order the same words can represent a statement. Eg. It is (statement), Is it (question). Correct usage could be “I don’t know what it is. (a good statement). But your child says “I don’t know what is it”. (this is a statement, but uses the question word order). This is another “new” but common mistake now. I didn’t encounter this kind of error in any kind of memorable way even just one year ago (2023). If it was even happening at all.
Omitting Every Contraction: Your child isn’t just speaking without contractions, but when they read something that’s written with contractions, they’ll undo the contraction and speak out the component words. This is terrible for the beautiful flow of English. And this is another thing that’s being incorrectly taught to the children now.
Articles Are Frequently Missing: For example your child says things like “Where is pencil” instead of correctly saying “Where is the pencil”. Or they say “It is boy” instead of correctly saying “It’s a boy”. This could come from thinking in the mother tongue to speak in English. But a language learner who’s received good training will be naturally speaking out all of those articles, even if there aren’t any similar article words in their first language.
WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS?
So what can you do about this? You have a very serious decision to make. The solution is easy to express, but might be hard to put into practice. But oh so very worth it if you want your child to have command and fluency in true English and like a native speaker. If what you want is grades for your child, then it’s very easy. Keep them focused on their studies at school, and forget about hiring us here at Beautiful Rhotic. I mean, we absolutely can’t help with this. We’re here to train our speakers for ability. And grades unfortunately don’t lead to ability, and the things that are needed for grades, will destroy ability. Just forget about Beautiful Rhotic and stay with the teachers that you have if it’s grades that you want for your child.
BUT I WANT MY CHILD TO HAVE TRUE ABILITY, FLUENCY AND MASTERY ALL DAY LIKE A NATIVE SPEAKER.
On the other hand, if you want mastery, fluency, command, flow, all day ability, good structure, etc. for your child, then we welcome you. That’s what we’re here for. You should definitly contact us to begin the consultation and get things started for your child or children to begin their journey in training in true and Beautiful American English, like a native speaker. But again, you’ll want to do everything you can to help your children succeed, and that definitly means as much sepparation from the “think too much” teaching of the public schools. But finding a way to do this, will greatly enhance your child’s development in true opperation of English, like an athlete.
If you are looking for true fluency and true command of American English for your child, there aren’t very many teachers who can offer what I am offering. Come see for your self. You won’t regret it.

HOW DO I BEGIN?
You can go ahead and schedule a free assessment class. To do that first go here to create your account. In some countries you might need a VPN to be able to access our calendar and booking service. Once you’ve done that, you can click here to see our calendar and actually book your assessment class. The system will require you to book your assessment class a few days in advance. That’s why you won’t see any availability for today or tomorrow. All of that can be found by going to the “Book a Course” tab at the top if you want to do it that way.
After you’ve booked your class for your child, we’ll be in touch via email. We’ll want to discuss with about the nature of our classes to be sure you have a good understanding and we’re all on the same path with the same goals. And we’ll need some details about our new student so that we can prepare a good first class. If you would rather have that conversation first, before booking the free assessment class, then you can reach out to us here first.
We look forward to hearing from you and seeing your child in training!
